About Me

I live in Wilbraham with my wife Mary and son Yaroslav, who currently is completing his degree in Emergency Medical Management from Springfield College. He was a dual enrollment graduate from Holyoke Community College and Minnechaug Regional High School. He attended HWRSD elementary and middle school.

I hold undergraduate degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology, and Masters in Education and Business from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  I am a firm believer in life long education and received my MBA from the Isenberg School of Business in 2008.

I also hold a Photographic Master and Craftsman Degree as well as being a certified instructor and certified business instructor from the Professional Photographers of America.

I am disabled veteran that served in the US Marine Corps as a public affairs specialist and Navy Reserves as a photographer. I am retired from the U.S. Navy.

I worked as a photographer for UMass Amherst and Davor Studios in Philadelphia and 28 years for Fujifilm in a variety of technical, sales, and marketing positions. I had my first photography jobs while I was still a student in High School.

I currently have a Dept of Labor certified Veterans owned small part time pet photography business.

I am the volunteer Director of the 501c3 not for profit Valley Photo Center that runs monthly photography shows in Tower Square in Springfield.
