Surgery

I had a hernia operation on July 10th. I was supposed to be home the same day, but it turned out the procedure was more complicated than the doctor thought and I had some issues. I am slowly recuperating and hope that I'll be back in action sometime in August.

Wilbraham Cultural Commission Grant

Although my studio work concentrates on pet photography I also like to do other types of photography too. One of my personal projects is to document Wilbraham in 2024 to capture and preserve the way the town looks in 2024. Studio or Location

I make both studio or location photographs. If you can I recommend having your pet photographed in my studio to get a unique professional portrait of you pal. Of course if you have a pet that is old or handicapped and can't make it up the stairs to my second floor studio or you have a big animal like a horse or even a goat or sheep I can go on location.

Fuji GFX 50IIs

After years of using a Hasselblad medium format camera I decided to upgrade to a new Fujifilm GFX 50 Its medium format camera. The new camera offers higher resolution and great color. I also have a Nikon full frame camera that I use on location, but the new Fujifilm camera can also now be used on location as well as in the studio and creates an even bigger and better file than the full frame Nikon. I also upgraded my studio lighten to new battery powered lights. These lights don't need cords ...

Cats

January 10, 2024

 I also photograph cats. They are harder to photograph than dogs because they usually aren't taught to sit or lie down, but with time and paitence it can be done. This is a photo of our pet Tuxedo cat, Jessie. He is a house cat and it took a while for him to get used to being in the studio, but eventually he settled down long enough for me to make some photographs of him.
