According to an on line article in Psychology Today posted April 30, 2020 Looking at Pictures of Dogs Improves Well-Being. The study showed that looking at pictures of dog made viewers happier, more grateful, and calmer. I don't think we need to do a controlled study to verify that looking at photographs of your own dog or pet would definitely improve your well-being.
