Happy 250th Birthday Marines! In November, 1975, I organized members of C Company, 25th Marines in Springfield, Massachusetts made a relay run, including myself, from "Tun Tavern", Philadelphia, PA to Springfield to rededicate this monument to celebrate the Marine Corps' 200th anniversary. Today I took these photos of that monument to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Corps. I can't believe 50 years have gone by so fast. I only wish I was in as good a shape today as I was as I was as a young Marine.
